Ramona Joseph
I am a certified nurse-midwife grew up in rural North Carolina and am member of the Lumbee Indian Tribe.  I graduated from the UNC at Greensboro in Nursing and UNC-Chapel Hill with a Masters in Public Health. As an officer in the US Public Health Service, I was assigned to various Indian reservations across the country including Oklahoma, New Mexico and California. My love has always been caring for pregnant women, especially during the laboring period. I graduated from the Frontier Nursing Service in Kentucky in 2002 and became certified as a nurse midwife. Until 2009  I worked with Indian Health Service in Phoenix for 18 years, but am loving my  practice at Boojum Obstetrics & Gynecology!

Another New Midwife at the Practice!

Posted by Brenna on March 29, 2010

Diane Ortega, CNM, will be starting with our practice on 4/1/11.  We are so excited to welcome her to the Boojum Family.  We will now be able to establish a true Midwifery Practice in Chandler where the midwives can be present for your labor and delivery since they will not be in the office when they are on call.
